OUR COACHES

➥ BEV BAINBRIDGE / COACH

Bev has been part of the Average Joe's coaching team for years and is known for her warm, friendly approach that makes everyone feel welcome. As a Level 4 PT who also works in a specialist respiratory occupational therapy and physiotherapy team, Bev brings a huge amount of knowledge and experience to every session — helping members build confidence, move well, and enjoy their training. 

➥ SCOTT HALL / COACH

Scott holds an MSc diploma in Strength and Conditioning and has an unyielding passion for optimizing human performance. Having represented England multiple times in the long and triple jump, and coached UK athletics, Scott brings his wealth of knowledge and coaching experience to every session. 

➥ JOE AMES / COACH

Joe has been coaching for around 4 years now, and developed his love for fitness when playing football for Newcastle United Academy and Wales International Team. Having boxed for many years, Joe has developed true grit, as well as the determination to bring out the best in others. There's nothing he loves more than seeing our members smashing their workouts!  

 

➥ ANNA BARCLAY / COACH & MASSEUSE
Anna has degree in Psychology and also holds a qualification in Sports Massage. Having danced competitively all of her life, Anna brings confidence, self-belief, and plenty of positive energy to the team. Her interests lie in women’s wellness, training, and recovery, and she also runs her own sports massage clinic from Average Joe’s, helping members recover, move better, and feel their best.

Joe's commitment to fostering a culture of inclusivity and progress is palpable in every corner of Average Joe's Fitness. As the founder and owner, Joe's vision transcends the conventional gym experience, aiming to create a space where individuals of all fitness levels feel empowered and supported. Enthusiastic and passionate, Joe programs high-level sessions that get results.
